Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion by the Kyoto Costume Institute traveled to London and Munich in 2011.
Check out the interesting article by Alice Revel here. She suggests that fashion exhibitions are tied to branding but there is also a rise, mainly in Europe and Asia of collective exhibitions that emphasize style and design over brands.
